We are discontinuing our chimpanzee art cards and only have a limited supply. Buy yours while supplies still last.

Art cards may be purchased singly or in discounted sets of five assorted cards. These 4x6-inch cards are blank on the inside and come with an envelope.

Dar, born August 2, 1976, is the largest chimpanzee at Central Washington University. Chimpanzees have lifespans similar to humans and have been known to live over 60 years in captivity. The chimpanzees at CWU gesture and vocalize the same as wild chimpanzees.

Tatu, born December 30, 1975, joined the other chimpanzees shortly after their move to Central Washington University in 1981. The chimps use the extensive American Sign Language vocabularies to communicate with humans and each other.
